Review by hotel critic
My recent stay at Clontarf Castle Hotel was truly enchanting. the front desk staff were not only uniformly helpful but also exuded a charming Irish hospitality that instantly made us feel at home. the lobby and public rooms were a delightful blend of castle grandeur and whimsical Alice in Wonderland charm, creating a unique and fun atmosphere. the location near the port was ideal for our early ferry departure, making our travels seamless. the cosy Fahrenheit restaurant served up contemporary dishes with a nod to Irish provenance, including delightful local specialties like Connemara ham and St Tola goat's cheese. Breakfast at the hotel was a delicious affair, with a full buffet spread and homemade elements like jams and breads that truly showcased the flavors of Ireland. The charming Indigo Lounge provided a stylish setting for morning coffee and afternoon tea, while the staff's excellent service extended to the Fahrenheit Grill restaurant, where we enjoyed a beautiful dinner. the on-site amenities, including a fitness room and welcoming bars, added to the overall allure of this tranquil oasis tucked away in Clontarf. Our comfortable room, with thoughtful touches like free international calls and laptop-friendly workspaces, ensured a relaxing stay. the convenience of 24-hour room service and the friendly concierge service helped us set up tours and tickets effortlessly. Overall, Clontarf Castle Hotel exceeded our expectations, offering a perfect blend of history, comfort, and impeccable service for a truly memorable experience.
